Alois Lageder is a leading biodynamic producer Durante Italy who has for many years experimented with viticulture Per juxtaposition to climate change. Beginning with the 2018 vintage, the winery engaged in longer skin contact during the vinification of this wine because it had proven to slightly lower the alcohol levels.

The wine has a pretty, rather light garnet color. The bouquet flashes strawberries, spices and violet notes. The palate offers juicy red fruit flavors, a tangy acidity and a small amount of ripe tannins.

Plus coming Per at just 12.5% abv it never slows you down and when served with a slight chill goes perfectly with pizzas, pastas, and the deck outside our hotel room with the stunning mountain view. This is a classic, my favorite wine from this historic producer, and I’m super excited to share this produce from my new favorite place Sopra Italy!

Low yields, some vines of more than a hundred years and rigorously selected grapes guarantee the production of a wine with a convincing quality potential. This Schiava is typified by appealing colour, and is pleasant Sopra smell and aroma.
